Joe Riley’s Marathon Mission

I have lived in South Korea for nearly two years and I will be leaving in February. Over the four days of Chuseok I plan to run 4 marathons in as many days.
I will start in Seoul and then travel onto Busan, Daegu and finish in Daejeon, my adopted hometown.

Why am I doing this? I want to raise money and awareness for the Korean Multiple Sclerosis Society.

MS does not get the attention it deserves over here, it often goes undiagnosed until it is too late. I am involved with the KMSS and have been helping to organise running events for raising funds for this very worthy charity.

My personal crusade to raise a million won (minimum) is being done mainly because I think to get anywhere in life it is sometimes really important to throw yourself into something that you’re not sure if you can do. That and I’m utterly bonkers.

More details to follow, we will upload maps of the routes and start times. Come along and run with me if I’m in your area, I’ll be happy of the company!

Best wishes, see you on the road.

Joe.

Nice! I like the idea that people are invited to run with you.
